A Heartfelt Thank You from Noahide Nations.
Celebrating 20 Years of Faith, Friendship, and Purpose.
To our cherished friends, supporters, and esteemed Rabbis,
As we mark the 20th anniversary of Noahide Nations, we pause with deep humility and overflowing gratitude to reflect on this incredible journey—one that has been guided by the Hand of Heaven and supported by the hearts of thousands.
To the countless individuals from across the world who have walked with us, studied with us, and grown with us—you are the soul of this mission. Your dedication, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support have sustained and strengthened us more than words can ever fully express.
To the hundreds of Rabbis who have given of their time, wisdom, and trust—we thank you for your guidance, your halachic clarity, and your genuine care for the righteous among the nations. Your teachings have elevated us, corrected us when needed, and inspired us to walk ever closer to the light of Torah.
Noahide Nations was founded with a single purpose: to bring truth, morality, and God-consciousness to the world through the eternal values of the Seven Laws given to Noah. That vision could not have lived, let alone thrived, without you. Every class taught, every soul uplifted, and every moment of connection has been a testament to what we can achieve together—with sincerity, courage, and devotion to Hashem.
May the next 20 years be filled with even greater unity, clarity, and global awakening. May we all merit to see a world filled with peace, righteousness, and the knowledge of God, as the waters cover the sea.
With endless appreciation and heartfelt blessings,
Ray Pettersen

Introduction
When I first thought about taking this 20-year journey down Memory Lane, I was overwhelmed. There’s simply no way to include every blessing that HaShem has bestowed upon Noahide Nations. It would be impossible to capture all the highs and lows, the triumphs and the trials that have shaped the past two decades.
When Mary and I first discovered the truth of Torah more than 25 years ago, my greatest challenge was learning how to stay out of HaShem’s way—to remain in His box rather than trying to fit Him into mine. I’ll admit, that’s still something I wrestle with today. So, as I share the story of these past 20+ years, I will do my best to present it the way HaShem wants it told—because Noahide Nations has always belonged to Him, not me.
It all began when Mary and I started a small study group in our home in San Diego. Every Shabbat, we gathered to study the weekly parshah. Over the next two years, people’s lives began to change, and for some, Shabbat study was no longer a priority. I remember one couple in particular—the husband was Jewish, though reluctant to join at first. His wife would bring him along, often “kicking and screaming,” as we joked. After about two years, he told us that he and his wife had decided to begin attending a local synagogue—which, truthfully, was where they belonged all along.
That moment made Mary and me realize that HaShem might be signaling that it was time for a new direction. We continued studying Torah and exploring what might be next. Then one day, while browsing the Internet, I came across a survey that claimed to determine which U.S. state best suited you. Out of curiosity, I took it—and to my surprise, it said Texas. I laughed it off immediately. After all, Mary and I had long ago agreed that we would never live in Texas. But then it hit me—we never told HaShem about that decision.
So, just to see what would happen, I asked Mary to take the same survey—without telling her my result. When she finished, she walked into my office so we could compare notes. “Well,” she said, “you’re not going to believe this—it says Texas.” I was speechless. When I showed her my own result, her eyes widened like saucers. Out of fifty states, how could we both get Texas? What were the odds?
At that point, we realized maybe HaShem was trying to tell us something.
After several conversations with Anita Jones (the wife of the late Vendyl Jones) and other Noahides, we decided to take the leap—and move to Texas.
Once there, we joined a small Noahide group in Killeen, Texas, meeting every Shabbat to study the weekly parshah. Eventually, we felt inspired to grow the community further, and we incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization called the Central Texas Noahide Center.
Not long after, HaShem blessed me with a vision—a concept for a worldwide Noahide organization. I jotted the idea down on a napkin (which I believe one of our founding members still has to this day). Soon after, HaShem gave me the name that would define the mission: Noahide Nations.
Our Honored Instructors
Noahide Nations, for over 20 years, has always been dedicated to providing Torah education for non-Jews. When we launched our teaching platform in 2005, there were only a handful of Rabbis capable of teaching the Noahide Laws. Over the years, as our community grew, more and more Rabbis stepped forward to share their wisdom—teaching both the Torah for Noahides and Universal Torah principles.
Now, as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, I want to express our deepest gratitude to all the individuals who have taught through Noahide Nations. Words cannot fully convey our appreciation—for without their time, wisdom, and dedication, the Noahide Laws might never have gained the recognition and awareness they have today. Their teachings have inspired thousands of people who would never have had the chance to learn what God expects from us as non-Jews.
