OVERVIEW OF NAGID PROGRAM

In an effort to help increase the building of successful communities Noahide Nations has undertaken to create a Leadership program called the Nagid Program. This program is not meant to create leadership independent of the Rabbis or a group of scholars to replace the Rabbis, such an idea is ludicrous! We are not interested in creating a new religion. As it says:

They are not to be allowed to originate a new religion or create mitzvot for themselves based on their own decisions.
--Laws of Kings and Their Wars Chapter 10 Halachah 9

The leadership program is committed to teaching valuable techniques and skills, as well as giving the resources needed to effectively build, sustain, and grow new Noahide communities. This includes creating a titled position to allow leaders to conduct legal marriages, funerals, and outreach to institutions such as prisons as well as create an opportunity for Noahides in the United States Military to become chaplains. All of these activities are necessary and essential for the Noahide movement, in terms of Noahide Nations' community building, to grow and develop.

To be clear, by no means does Noahide Nations intend for the Leadership Program to be something that everyone must accept. The Leadership Program is unique to Noahide Nations and will be used to aide in Noahide Nations' community building projects. People are free to choose to what extent, if any, they desire to involve themselves in the leadership program. If other organizations wish to create their own leadership programs or do not wish to have a leadership program of any kind we respect those decisions. This program is about helping individuals develop techniques and skills and to have resources that will aide them in creating, developing, and growing Noahide communities.

ARE YOU A LEADER?

It's time to stop thinking about the future and be part of creating the future. Noahides who wish to step up and make a difference should consider the following before making the decision to proceed with the Nagid Leadership Program.  Completing the Nagid program would give you the option of becoming a clergy of Noahide Nations.

"The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice."

There are 3 kinds of people in the world; those who ask what happened, those who sit and wait for it to happen and those who make it happen. We are looking for men and women who have chosen to make things happen for themselves and other Noahides for the betterment of Mankind.

"The best way to predict the future is to create it."

The future is constantly before us and always becomes the past with only the passage of time. There are many people with ideas on ways to change the future. As a Noahide Nagid you will need to have the courage and the will to change the future. Having knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.

"Strive for excellence, not perfection"

Noahide Nations wants those who strive for excellence in what they do because they are the ones who actually get things accomplished. These accomplishments will not always be perfect but those who seek perfection in everything generally never accomplish anything. We want men and women who strive for excellence in giving of themselves to their fellow man in the service of HaShem.

Donald Trump once said "Without passion, you don't have energy; without energy, you have nothing. Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion." We at Noahide Nations believe this 100%. If you do not have a passion for HaShem, His Torah and a desire to help your fellow Noahides grow closer to the Creator then you will not be successful as a Noahide Nagid.

"It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required."

As a Noahide Nations Community Leaders we must sometimes do what may not be the most popular or politically correct at the time. However, a leader must always strive to do what is right. Even in the face of controversy.

"Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance."

A leader is one who studies so much that one day they have the revelation that the more they learn about HaShem the the less they know. This humbling understanding helps us to realize that even though we may sometimes teach, we are always a student.

"Love of our fellow man"

This is possibly the most important characteristic a leader can have.

Maimonides wrote that it should only be out of love for God, rather than fear of punishment or hope for reward, that we should obey the law: "When man loves God with a love that is fitting he automatically carries out all the precepts of love". Maimonides thinks that love of God can be developed by contemplating Divine deeds or witnessing the marvels of nature (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Yesoday HaTorah, Chapter 2).

It is frequently stated that pure love is suppression of all care for self, and through such love true union of the soul with God is effected. This union is said by the Kabbalists to take place in the celestial "palace of love". HaShem shows us infinite love and mercy, and He asks us to do the same with our fellow man.

As a leader we must demonstrate love even when it is the last thing you want to do.

If you feel that the above represents a relatively high percentage of who you are then we would encourage you to consider beginning the Noahide Nations Nagid Program by filling out the application form HERE or calling us to register for your first course at 512-944-7603.
