  This class offers an in-depth exploration of the Torah's teachings on sexual immorality, examining how these teachings have been understood and applied throughout history and in contemporary contexts. Sexual immorality is a recurring theme in Tanach, where it is often associated with moral, spiritual, and communal purity.

  Students will study key biblical texts and the Talmud, including laws, narratives, and prophetic writings, to understand the cultural, theological, and ethical dimensions of sexual morality in the Torah. We will review how these ancient teachings on modern day thought and practice, addressing issues such as premarital sex, adultery, homosexuality, and sexual ethics within marriage.
